Julio César Colín Paredes
A political scientist by training from the Universidad Iberoamericana (CDMX), most of his professional experience has been dedicated to defending human rights, specifically freedom of expression, and supporting journalists at risk due to their work. He worked for a total of seven years at Article 19 Mexico and Central America. For four years, he worked in the Protection and Defense area of Mexico, and for the last three, he dedicated himself to building a section for Central America and the Caribbean. Thanks to this experience, he has extensive knowledge of the particularities of each country, its culture, and even specific issues. Additionally, among his responsibilities during these years, he was responsible for creating and implementing courses and workshops for journalists.

Political Communications and Marketing Specialist with fifteen years of experience analyzing the political and social environment and designing and implementing political and government communications campaigns and brand positioning. Specialist in the installation and operation of war rooms, debate preparation, and media management. Has worked in more than 20 political campaigns in Mexico and Latin America.
